Board of Directors
Sacramento Metropolitan Fire District is a special district governed by a Board of Directors. Each Board Member is elected by the voters within a geographical area, or division, of Metro Fire's operational area. There are nine Board Members representing the citizens within our jurisdiction.
The Board of Directors regular meetings are held on the second and fourth Thursday of each month at 6:00 PM, with the exception of Holidays and other recesses. Meetings are held at District Headquarters, 10545 Armstrong Ave., Mather CA 95655 in the Board Chambers, Suite 310.
Agendas for the Board meetings are posted 72 hours prior to the meeting at District Headquarters and on the District website by clicking on "Agendas & Minutes." Board Videos of meetings are also available for viewing.
The Board of Directors encourages attendance and input at Board meetings. If you wish to address the Board, fill out a “Speakers Form” and submit it to the Clerk of the Board prior to the commencement of the meeting. Individual comments will be limited to three minutes and comments from organizations to five minutes. The presiding officer may, in the interest of time, limit the length and number of public member presentations.
