EMERGENCY SERVICE DELIVERY IS A PRIORITY

All fire stations and emergency response capabilities are fully staffed and operational. We are being supported by our Support Services Branch which is critical to maintaining our operational readiness. Continue to call 911 when you have an emergency, but please consult your doctor if you believe you may have COVID-19 unless you are experiencing life threatening symptoms. If you call 911, please answer the call takers questions as accurately as possible so we can provide you the best care available.

Metro Fire personnel are taking all recommended precautions to ensure we minimize our risk of exposure to COVID-19. From additional call screening by dispatchers at the Sacramento Regional Fire/EMS Communications Center, only utilizing necessary personnel during patient contact, and wearing the appropriate personal protective equipment as indicated we remain ready to serve you.
