The facilities division's primary function is repairing and replacing critical components necessary to keep our fire stations and administrative facilities functioning.

This is accomplished with a staff consisting of 1-manager, 3-technicians, 1- assistant, and as well as a pool office technician and an administrative assistant.

The Facilities division manages a little over 500,000 square-feet of improved property that includes 41 active fire stations and 2 reserve fire stations, leased properties, warehouse space, a fleet maintenance facility, training sites, and office space at multiple locations.

The facilities division tackles projects like kitchen, bathroom, and office refurbishments as well as performing electrical and plumbing system maintenance repair and upgrades, LED lighting retrofits, HVAC system repair and replacements, structural system repairs Including roofs, windows, overhead doors, painting, drywall, paving and asphalt. The facilities division works collaboratively with station personnel and with other divisions in the planning, funding, and bidding of larger projects in order to provide the best possible finished product and the highest possible level of maintenance to our properties and grounds.
