Public Records (Other)
Use this form to request records not mentioned on the previous page.
Please provide as much detailed information as possible in the description of records section. Be sure to include clear and concise information in your request to ensure the scope is narrow enough for personnel to determine if Metro Fire has the records.
Please note: The 10-day period provided under CA Government Code § 7922.535 begins on the date the District receives your request. Requests submitted after 4:00 p.m., on weekends, or on District-observed holidays will be considered received on the next regular business day (Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.).
The 10-day period is the statutory timeframe for Metro Fire to determine whether responsive records exist and to notify the requester of that determination; it is not a deadline for producing records. If a request is voluminous, requires legal review, research, redaction, or specialized retrieval or programming, additional time may be necessary to prepare the records for release. Metro Fire will process all requests as promptly as practicable and will make every effort to keep requesters informed of anticipated response and production timeframes.
