As a result of Measure O’s successful passage in 2024, Metro Fire is better positioned to meet the needs of our community for years to come. From constructing new stations and improving aging ones, replacing outdated and deteriorating lifesaving equipment, equipping stations to better support rapid fire and EMS response for growing call volume, and seeking continued reduction of carcinogens, the strong support for Measure O helps us actualize many of the goals we have been working toward in order to continue providing professional and compassionate protection, education, and service to our community.
